01 / Our approach

Understanding our environment.
Shaping its future.

Our new chapter focuses on climate change and the relationship between people and nature. Adult education, youth participation and environmental awareness are complementary strands of this purpose.

01

Nature and climate change

Understanding environmental challenges, making climate knowledge accessible and encouraging responsible stewardship of landscapes and their resources.

02

Adult education

Supporting lifelong learning about sustainability, responsible consumption and participation in the green transition.

03

Youth and participation

Creating opportunities for young people to understand climate challenges, contribute their perspectives and help shape their community’s response.

04

Environmental awareness

Making environmental issues understandable and connecting them with everyday decisions, collective action and public debate.

02 / Technology and innovation

Connecting science,
technology
and society.

Technology is part of our environmental focus. We are interested in how it can support understanding of the environment, learning and public participation in addressing climate challenges.

We aim to develop this area in collaboration with research teams, educational organisations and technology partners.

Accessible environmental knowledge

Exploring how digital resources and data communication can make climate issues easier to understand.

Learning and digital tools

Connecting educational innovation with the needs of adults, young people and communities.

Participation in innovation

03 / European cooperation

An environmental agenda.
A space for
collaboration.

We seek partnerships with universities, research centres, public bodies, civil society organisations and technology companies working on nature and climate.

One of our priorities is to explore participation in Horizon Europe proposals that connect research and innovation with education, awareness and public engagement.

We address social transformation and mental health where they are directly related to nature, climate or the effects of the green transition.
